Vivant® Pharmaceuticals’ skincare line is formulated by a team of researchers led by our formulating consultant James E. Fulton M.D., Ph.D®., the co-developer of Retin-A®*. Dr. Fulton has developed skincare products for the skincare professional, medical community, and global pharmaceutical companies for over forty years. These years of experience have culminated into one patented skincare line, Vivant® Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Fulton is the aestheticians’ biggest advocate. He was the first physician to promote to the medical community using an aesthetician as part of the team in the medical office. He had as many as six aestheticians practicing in his office at any one time, and promoted the idea to the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He coined the term paramedical aestheticians, organized educational meetings for aestheticians, and still actively teaches medical aesthetician courses.
